Our client HG Timber contacted us with regard to the external cleaning of their factory in Buckingham, Buckinghamshire.
The client wanted a clean of all four sides of cladding, windows & loading doors to improve the visual appearance of the factory, ensuring visitors to the business have a great first impression!
In the first instance, we carried out a full site survey to inspect the condition of the cladding, access for cleaning and site-specific health and safety hazards.
Our client requested that the building was not to be pressure washed and requested a hot water wash using water fed poles and a light duty cleaner. This method was chosen as not to risk any damage to the protective coating of the cladding and also to minimise the risk of any water ingress to the building.
As a company, we always prepare and submit RAMS (risk assessment and method statement) to each and every commercial client. Our client at HG Timber was happy with our RAMS and the works commenced…
It is very important to us that our work is completed with minimal to no disruption to our clients day to day business operations. We were successfully able to carry out the complete external clean of this building without any interruption to the client’s production line, incoming vehicle movements, vehicle loading or to any vehicles leaving the site.
