High Level Graffiti Removal @ The 02 Forum

We were initially contacted by the main contractor carrying our refurbishment works to the 02 Forum because the building had been subjected to a large scale graffiti attack that needed to be removed.

The south west facing elevation (west) of the building was fully scaffolded for the building works which graffiti artists used to access the top of the building.

The artwork to be removed from the old london stocks was around 2 meters high and 16 meters in length – the graffiti was a solid 32+ square meters of various coloured spray paint on the brick and stone wall.

To provide the fastest possible service for this graffiti cleaning we requested the client send us photo’s in the first instance – both of the graffiti itself and of the site.

RAMS (Risk Assessment and method statement) were submitted and accepted by our client and works were scheduled.

The team successfully removed the offending paint from the wall of the building, restoring the beautiful london stocks to their former glory!

Our client also requested that are team undertake paint removal for them to remove the yellow paint at the very top of the building, it is estimated that this paint had been on the building for at least 80-100 years. This paint removal was successful with the use of a specialist paint stripper and a 24 hour dwell time, followed by a gentle steam clean.
